PT Surya Satrya Timur Corp. - Industry
This is primarily a plywood industry located in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The industry sources its logs from its concessions in Central Kalimantan. The main source of logs is PT Indexim Utama which is working closely with TFF on RIL training and CoC issues.
TFF’s Involvement
TFF has conducted a baseline assessment for setting up a CoC system in the industry for wood coming from PT Indexim Utama. This involvement has included CoC training and a number of follow-up visits.
Current Status
The company just undergone a legality and CoC audit starting with the Indexim concession and through the industry. TFF will continue collaborating with this industry in trying to bring market advantage to this audited supply chain.
