Training Activities


Training Activity	:

Reduced Impact Logging (RIL) promotion, training, and demonstration. These are the core TFF activities in Indonesia and cut across all other programs. Training and demonstration in various aspects of RIL, are provided to forest management units on request. TFF training modules are tailored to fill specific needs of individual companies. Technical advice and support is also available on request.

TFF’s “RIL Verified” is a new concept in Forest-Market Linking.

Certification Support Program. TFF has recently secured an arrangement through a Dutch partnership, whereby it will provide professional evaluation and advice, technical support in certification, assistance in establishing chain-of-custody systems, and training in RIL implementation to two, major forest companies who have shown a strong committed to achieving FSC certification.
