Feb.22 - Mar.16	Social Forestry Development Project (GFA/GTZ)	West Kalimantan	TFF trainer assist in translation, training, and demonstration in manual extraction techniques and the use of a portable sawmill in a community forest development Project.

July 30- Aug. 8	Kayu Lapis Indonesia Group Sarmiento Parakantja Timber (3 concessions)	Central Kalimantan	RIL planning, skid trail layout, opening of skid trail network; Certification workshop. Follow-up training in map editing is planned.
Aug. 20 - Sep.2	PT Daisy Timber	East Kalimantan	RIL planning; identification of improvements required for certification; certification workshop. Further involvement requested; Linkage with buyer group based in Vietnam.
Sep. 10 - 20	Roda Mas Group PT. Roda Mas Timber (4 concessions)	East Kalimantan	RIL planning, implementation and demonstration; certification workshop. Well received demonstration; plans to conduct more extensive trials in 2002.
Sep. 21-24	Yayasan Iyapupai & AviaLift Vladivostok	Papua Barat	Assessment of training needs for community based helicopter logging. Training program to be developed.
Sep. 25	Kayu Lapis Industries	Jakarta	Training in the edition of contour maps produced on GIS software. Follow-up involvement requested
Oct. 1 - 19	TFF	CIFOR, Bogor	Three courses in the use of ROADENG program for contour and tree position mapping and road design. Participants from forest companies, universities, NGOs, and Government (Indonesia and Malaysia)
Nov. 15	South-Central Kalimantan Production Forest Project (EU)	Jakarta	Workshop on “Management Role in Forest Certification”. For the management of the Dwima Jaya Group.
Nov. 24-26	South-Central Kalimantan Production Forest Project (EU)	Central Kalimantan	Workshop on forest certification. For the staff of the Dwima Jaya concessions.
