Regional Programs

In 2004, TFF secured a grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Forest Service (USDA), to initiate a pilot project for RIL training in West/Central Africa. The project is in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and FORM Ecology Consultants

The Tropical Forest Foundation (TFF) opened a program in the SE Asia and Pacific Region in January 2003 with the establishment of an office in Jakarta, Indonesia. The focus of the Indonesia/SE Asia program is on Reduced Impact Logging (RIL) promotion, training, and demonstration.
